FOR MACRONI
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 4 cup water
- ½ olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
FOR CHEESE SAUCE
- 2 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 cups milk or heavy cream
- ¼ black pepper powder
- ⅙ teaspoon salt
- ¼ red paprika
- 2 cups cheese – mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, Paremesan cheese.
FOR BAKING
- 1 teaspoon melted unsalted butter
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoon cheese – shredded, mozzarella, Paremesan cheese
HOW TO MAKE MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE ?
1. BOIL MACARONI PASTA – Boil 2 cups of elbow macaroni in a large pot. Add 4 cups water and ½ teaspoon salt. Cook the macroni until soft, and then Drain it in a bowl
2. MAKE THE SAUCE – In a saucepan, heat 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over a low flame. Whisk until the butter is melted. After cooking the butter, add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Whisk the flour into the butter and keep stirring.
3. Saute the flour until you get a thick consistency. Then pour the 2 cups of cold milk or heavy cream and stir continuously. The sauce gets thick and creamy. Once done, turn off the flame.
4. ADD CHEESE TO THE SAUCE – Add 2 cups of cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese in a sauce (you can add any of your favourite cheeses) and whisk it until the cheese gets completely melted. The creamy white cheese sauce is ready.
5. Add 1 teaspoon black pepper and 1 teaspoon red paprika. ⅙ teaspoon salt, and mix well. Now add the macroni to the cheese sauce and mix until the macroni gets coated in the sauce. The mac and cheese are ready to serve.
