  • 2 cups mashed bananas ( 3-4 large bananas)
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2-3 large eggs

For frosting :

  • 8 ounce brick of Cream cream
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • ½ salt

How to make Frozen banana bread recipe

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease the bread pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the mashed bananas and melted butter together. After mixing, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix until combined.

 3. Using a stand mixer, beat the butter until smooth and creamy for 1-2 minutes. Add both brown sugar and granulated sugar and beat on high speed for 2 minutes until smooth, then set aside.

4.  Add eggs and vanilla extract, beat them together until combined, and mix in the flour and banana mixer.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

6. Remove the banana bread from the oven and set it on a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely for about 10–15 minutes, then remove it from the loaf pan, and the homemade banana bread is ready

Make the frosting :

1. In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, add cream cheese and butter, whisk until smooth and creamy.

2. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.

3.  Once your banana bread has cooled completely, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top of the banana bread. If you want, you can sprinkle some nuts or chocolate chips on top of the banana bread for decoration.
