Fresh Watermelon Chunks: Watermelon is the key ingredient in a watermelon margarita. It’s summertime, so we need fresh watermelons for this recipe; this provides the main flavour and sweetness of the margarita.
Lime juice and limes: 1 tablespoon Fresh lime juice will balance the sweetness and flavour. Also, some lime slices or wedges for the garnishing.
Tequila: Tequila is another important ingredient in this recipe. We are using white tequila; feel free to add any of your own choice. Tequila will give an alcoholic and crisp flavour to the margarita.
Triple sec or orange liqueur: we are using orange liqueur; you can use any variety. This is key to getting the classic margarita flavor. This will add sweetness to the margarita.
Salt and sugar: use a salt and sugar mixture for rimming the margarita glasses. This will give you a savoury and sweeter touch when you sip the watermelon margarita.
